Walter W. Andrews

Walter Andrews, age 89, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, surrounded by love. A kind-hearted and endlessly likable man, he was known for his humor, his warmth, and his unwavering devotion to family.

Born in Rockford, IL in 1936, Walt lived a life full of quiet strength and steady grace. He was a devoted husband to Gillian, who passed away in October, leaving a space in his heart that never quite healed. Together, they built a life rooted in love and raised two children.

Whether he was tinkering in the garage, telling a dad joke, or simply enjoying a good cup of coffee, Walt had a way of making everyone feel at ease. His legacy lives on in the kindness he showed, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his children, Molly and William, and a circle of family and friends who will miss him deeply.
